It's weekend! And the day is gray.

As much as I like the color, today I prefer the opposite.

Sharing ya one classic tune, the Glory of Love from Dean Martin.

Keb' Mo also made an exquisite version of this song, sadly they don't have a better video grabbed on youtube... If ya wanna check, there's also a gorgeous version from Peggy Lee, Benny Goodman & Ella Fitzgerald , and there's nothing could ever be jazzier than that..

My first rememberance of this song was in the soundtrack of One Fine Day , back in 1996.

The movie was so - so and soso ( in spanish -- plain , ha!! ) but i'm feelin the soundtrack more. Keb Mo, Betty Midler for the Glory of Love and not to forget the one from The Shirelles - Mama Said.

A sweet after taste over a not so romantic movie.

Anyway, last night over a messenger chat with my long fellow Marcello. I told him that I'll be signing out from the chat and about to watch Be Kind Rewind ( Michel Gondry ) on TV.

I told him, " Cell, I'm out..gonna watch TV! "

Him, " K, enjoy weekend, beb! Laugh a little! "

THE YEAR 10 !!

Even 2011 has started, it's kinda unfair if I don't mention what had passed in the year 10!
Well, 10 is actually my favorite number ( hmmm, it's difficult to decide which I prefer more between 9 or 10, whatever) but 2010 WAS A GREAT YEAR FOR ME!!

I had mentioned several higlights on my twitter, I think I had forgotten some--i'm telling you there were a LOT...Like A LOT of things happened last year!

Yes that I had those days that suffered me, BUT I learned my lesson... And it's not really good sharing bad energies over good memories. You still can ask me in person if ya really wanna know, trust me the bad things didn't fail me to have the VICTORY over my year 10!

I'm wishing you, I'm wishing myself that these GREAT things continue seeking us in the next greet of Sun light.

In Spain, the season of Christmas and New Year ends after the 3 Wise Men day at 6th of January. So, i don't think it's too late for me to say this to you.

Christmas Songs are also one of the best thing of the Season.
Songs that you barely can't even sing or you might feel funny to listen to it in other month.

Our Church Choir decided to do caroling in Parque del Retiro
Just like the other years, we started around 4 and we made 3 stops and singing 6-7 songs

My friend, Michael Brave made a record and put it on Youtube.

We're going to carol again next week.
So if you're in town and you'd like to feel the Christmas Spirit, please come..
We'll be there at 4 ( at the main Gate of Parque del Retiro -- Puerta del Alcala entrance. ) and gradually getting inside the Park.

advent in IKEA

Happy 1st day of Advent!!!

I spent such a nice time with these beautiful ladies this year.

We went to IKEA for lunch. As usual, Nicole and I were craving for codillos, our once a year routine thingy.

Hey, don't give me that look.. We could never finished them, seriously!

After lunch we're browsing inside.

Who's not loving to walk and see the exhibition part of Ikea?

It was really crowded, cause tomorrow is a public holiday.. no one can bear not to go to malls or somewhere inside buildings.

These are Me, Nicole, Kelsey, Rachel and Joanna spent our amazing time in IKEA.

SEASON'S GREETINGS!!!!

It's official that the Christmas season has arrived.
I had told you how my day was, yet again I'm writing about the excitement of December.
Winter comes early, we had our first snow yesterday which is uncommon to have it in November.
I haven't got time to buy a Christmas tree... though I know, the thing that I need to prepared is supposed nothing bout myself.
(Yes, the big challenge comes in the 1st day of December.. haha)

This would be my 3rd year of Christmas in Europe.
But this year it would be special cause i'll have it with my baby brother Abe who's now studying in Enschede, Netherland. I'll be visiting him for 6 days and he'll come to visit me the next 6 days to Madrid.

And also today is Asih Astari's birthday!!

She's the loveliest Sagittarian I know..
I know that now she's having her birthday getaway
to Singapore for almost a week.
Oh I'm feeling you.... :)

Once again, it's me that needs to be prepared for Christmas.
Not the ornaments and presents.

i am just fully blessed.

i am thankful for today is the payday.
i am thankful for this little job that i've been doing for 2 years.
i am thankful that today the weather is better than Monday.
i am thankful that i could still have a walk from Colon to Manuel Becerra.
i am thankful that i could browse some cute shops around Serrano, Goya.
i am thankful that i could hold myself to shop.
i am thankful for half Kebab i had for lunch.
i am thankful that i could still chat with my brother before the keypad of blackberry is not workin.
i am thankful for my warm house.
i am thankful that eventhough i am million miles from home i still have internet and twitter.
i am thankful for my laptop.
i am thankful for many people thoughts that make me smile and laugh all the day.
i am thankful for words of encouragement from a golden hearted young man out there.
i am thankful for several tips that i received according to my unworking keypad.
i am thankful for everyday chat with a very far friend that was gone for 13 years.
i am thankful for the pineapple juice that calmed me down after the crash.
i am thankful for my roomates.
i am thankful for spotify that never leave me out musicless
i am thankful for this grateful feeling when i actually could have other option to get angry more.
i am thankful for Lisa Ekdahl that i'm listening now.
