So, I had a chance to visit my Dad's hometown last week in Solo ( ay, pobre la gente que ojala que no este sola todo el tiempo ... :P ) in Central of Java for a short business trip.
My friend Nuri and I we had to check some works that we are currently
doing
in Boyolali and we decided to stay in Solo for a night.
Tisa, our partner had recommended this Hotel named Rumah Turi
that is located in Turisari, that happened to be not so far from where my late Grandmother from Dad's side lived when she was young.
A little story about Rumah Turi that this hotel is an eco green hotel, that is uniquely designed , and every construction was made from used material such as recycled wooden, metals and cotton fabrics.
What i love most was, they chose to have a yard instead of swimming pool that really soothe my eyes when I walked to my room.
They do have a great system for watering every plants like a sprinkle of water from the tip of the shelter that automatically showering the green area every morning. ( I really thought that it was raining hard that time , then I realise that I did a wrong guess )
Loving the green roof, that made it gorgeous with plants like chillis, eggplants, and spinach.
And if you ask about the price, they offered the best price that I couldn't ever imagined.
350.000 ( for the low season, I assume. )
Solo is one of the best authentic Javanese city in Central of Java and has its own speciality on culinary. Most people come for the food also for vintage goods shopping.
I'll post more pictures about the vintageys later.
